Paris Agreement: A Guide for the Perplexed - 2nd Edition | August 2025

Imagine a condominium meeting with 198 people, who need to decide on a major renovation project in the building. The project needs to be completed urgently, or the building will collapse. It's an expensive renovation that will increase the value of the apartments, but it has an initial cost that needs to be shared fairly among the condominium owners. And everyone's circumstances are very different.
There are the longtime residents, the wealthy who occupy large apartments and are largely responsible for the deterioration the building has suffered over the years. There are the newly rich who made their fortunes in the financial market and moved into the penthouse, the largest apartment of all, putting a strain on the structure. There are well-off workers who recently purchased their properties. There are the poor who live in the basement extension. And there are even poorer people, who live on charity. Everyone should contribute to the renovation, but how?
Check out the guide and find everything you need to know about the COP and the Paris Agreement.
